      All:      Forgive us for our half-hearted devotion;

                  Forgive us for our need to judge others;

                  Forgive us for the precious things we have hoarded;

                  Forgive us for cruel words spoken in defense of you;

                  Forgive us our deafness to your correction.

                  Make us a fragrant offering;

                  a blessing poured out to all around us.
