* During the adult nurture hour today, Janelle
Roberts, an addictions counselor who has been working with adolescents at
Oaklawn for 12 years, will be offering some basic information about
alcohol, alcoholism, and talking to our children about these things.
This is a continuation of the nurture hour discussion from July 25 and focuses
on one of the questions that emerged then.
Childrenfrom preschool through fifth grade will go directly to their classrooms
following worship:
Infants
and 2-year-olds will meet in the Nursery.
Preschool/Kindergarten
will meet in “Joyful.”
Grades
1-5 will meet in “Peace.”
Youth:
The
JYF (grades 6-8) and MYF (grades 9-12) meet in their classrooms off of Jubilee
Hall.
