IBA — Insituto Bíblico Anabautista (Anabaptist Biblical Institute) has been serving Spanish-speaking Mennonites for 25 years.  As the Hispanic Mennonite community began to expand in the 1980s, IBA was created to provide Anabaptist-based Bible studies for people—especially congregational leaders—who were new to the Mennonite church. Today, courses are taught by volunteer tutors in more than 50 locations across the country, and more than 1,000 people have graduated from the 8-course program. IBA is administered at Mennonite Education Agency offices in Elkhart, Ind. and Newton, Ks. Currently about 350 students are enrolled and demand is growing.
