A Quiet Place, located on Waubee Lake near Camp Mack, offers a variety of Creating Community groups which center around topics of spirituality. These groups meet once a month from September through May. This year’s offerings include three groups for women and one for men.
- “Celtic Spirituality” – second Saturdays, led by Karla Minter
- “The Work of Your Hand: Exploring Christian Formation Through the Arts” – first Wednesdays, led by Rosanna Eller McFadden
- “God’s Joy-Filled Surprises” – second Wednesdays, led by Yvonne Riege
- “What Good is God? In Search of Faith that Matters” – third Thursdays, led by Dan Petry
