Bethany Fish Fry

The Bethany Christian School senior class will hold a semiannual fish fry on Friday, November  1, from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (carryout begins at 4:00 p.m.). Come for an evening of fellowship, homemade pie, and all the fish you can eat. Tickets are $9 for adults and carryout and $5 for children K-6 (preschool-age free). Tickets may be purchased from any Bethany seniors (Rachel Schrock, Abraham Thorne, Corey Hostetler or Lana Smucker) or at the school (574) 534-2567. Don’t forget your checkbook on Sunday!

November 4: Hacienda Day

A Hacienda Day will be held Monday, November 4, to benefit Bethany Christian Schools. Hacienda will donate 20% of purchases for food, gift certificates, and carryouts all that day with presentation of a token. Tokens may NOT be distributed inside or outside the restaurant that day. Tokens may be printed at bethanycs.net/haciendaday or are available from Rafael Barahona in the church office.

November 7: Ten Thousand Villages Donations

Shop Ten Thousand Villages in Goshen (206 S. Main St.) on Thursday, November 7, and Ten Thousand Villages will donate 20 percent of sales to Bethany Christian Schools. Your loved ones will enjoy the creative handcrafted gifts you purchase and artisans will receive vital, fair income as you support Bethany. Store hours for this benefit are 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

November 8: UB Bruin Club

The UB Bruin Club is an opportunity for students in grades 3-5 who are planning to attend Bethany Christian Schools or wanting to explore that option. Children can make friends with future classmates and begin to have their own fun experiences at Bethany. The next meeting is Friday, November 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Activities this month is fun with music. November 10: Open House at Bethany

Bethany Christian Schools will host a drop-in open house noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 10, for anyone considering attending Bethany. Bring your family for a visit in a laid back and friendly atmosphere. A casual lunch will be provided. Kindly RSVP online at www.bethanycs.net or by contacting the admissions office at (574) 534-2657 or admissions@bethanycs.net to help plan for the meal.

November 18: Visit Bethany

Students in grades 3-11 interested in exploring Bethany Christian Schools can shadow a Bethany student on Monday, November 18, 8:40 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Parents are invited to a 8:45-9:15 a.m. coffee and conversation. Parent tours are available 8:15 a.m. This is a great way for prospective students and families to discover Bethany! November 22 – 24: Lost in Yonkers

Bethany Christian Schools will stage Neil Simon’s Pulitzer-Prize winning play, Lost in Yonkers, November 22-24. Our own Jacob Rudy-Froese, Rachel Schrock and Kyle Snyder will perform! Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Lost in Yonkers is a dramatic comedy that centers around a family in Yonkers during the 1940s. A coming-of-age tale, Yonkers follows a young boy, Jay, as he learns about changing what he can and learning to accept what he cannot. To ensure a seat, reserve tickets beginning November 4 in the school office or call (574) 534-2567. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday performance at 3:00 p.m.
