Summary
This sermon is a mix of reflections on Sabbatical and reflections on some themes in the book of Exodus as a whole. As we finish our study of Exodus, I will not be focusing on a single passage or story, but on the big storyline. And a central takeaway is how God forms the Israelites in community, not just as individuals, but as a whole people of God, together. This was something I missed over sabbatical and noticed clearly when I returned- how God forms me through this community and how God is forming us together as a people.
