Over the past many years, Berkey has collaborated with College Mennonite, Faith Mennonite, Assembly Mennonite, and Eighth Street Mennonite congregations to run Vacation Bible School (VBS). This year, College Mennonite decided to pursue a different format for VBS on their own. Due to the late notice, the remaining churches in this collaborative group chose to take a break. So while there will be no VBS this year, representatives will begin re-envisioning for 2021 after Easter. Anyone with particular vision and/or energy for next year’s VBS is welcome to discuss it with our congregation’s representatives, Andrea Bontrager Yoder or Joanne Gallardo.
