Spend your Martin Luther King Holiday evening with Philadelphia Phillies starting catcher Erik Kratz, who will share his powerful story of maintaining faith and perseverance in his journey to the major leagues—from his days at Christopher Dock Mennonite High School, Eastern Mennonite University, and through more than 8 years in the minor leagues. The evening also includes a meal consisting of Philadelphia and ballpark favorites such as Philly cheese-steak sandwiches, hot dogs, chili cheese fries, soft pretzels from Pennsylvania, popcorn, and homemade desserts.

You will have opportunities for photos, autographs, and the chance to win several items of game-used memorabilia provided by Erik. The evening is sponsored by Waterford Mennonite Church youth to raise funds for their convention and service trip this summer. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students (add $5 if buying at the door). Gates open at 6 p.m. at Waterford Mennonite Church (65975 Indiana 15 in Goshen). Or reserve a table of 10 for $200. To purchase tickets call the church office at (574) 533-5642. (Guyana)
