Bethany Christian High School will be performing the musical Just So! March 6-9. Performances are on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students. Ticket sales begin Monday, February 17, and may be purchased online at bethanycs.net/justso14 (or call the school at 534-2567 on school days, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
Based on the stories of Rudyard Kipling, Just So takes the audience on a journey to the banks of Africa’s Limpopo River, where they meet a collection of colorful creatures. Connecting the stories of how the rhino got its baggy skin and how the giraffe got its spots, to name a few, is the quest of the Elephant’s Child to stop Pau Amma the Crab from playing with the ocean and threatening the lives of all the animals. Assisted by the Eldest Magician and the Kokokolo Bird, the Elephant’s Child shows us how one determined individual can make a real difference in the world. Created by the team behind the musical HONK!, this show is entertaining and inspiring for all ages.The production will feature our own Rachel Schrock and Kyle Snyder.
